En effet, les plages de Mahé figurent parmi les plus belles de tout l’archipel. Ce qui fait principalement la fierté de l’île. De plus, la plage est facilement accessible, car elle se trouve à seulement 15 minutes de la capitale. La plupart des voyageurs s’y attardent jusqu’au coucher de soleil pour assister à un magnifique spectacle de couleur et terminent la journée dans nombreux bars et restaurants.

Visiter le parc national du morne Seychellois

Couvrant une superficie d’environ 3 045 ha, ce parc a été créé en 1979. Il se trouve au nord-est de l’île et abrite l’un des plus hauts sommets de l’archipel : le morne Seychellois qui culmine à près de 905 mètres d’altitude. Pour l’ascension de ce dernier, il est fortement conseillé d’être accompagné par un guide. Si vous êtes un amoureux de la nature et un amateur de randonnée, vous serez comblé.

En atteignant le sommet, vous aurez une vue exceptionnelle sur l’ensemble du littoral. En moyenne la randonnée dure près de 5 heures et vous aurez à traverser des forêts tropicales, des mangroves et des plantations. D’autres randonnées sont également à faire comme celles qui mènent au sommet du Morne Blanc (667 mètres) et à celui des Trois Frères (699 mètres).
